I have a lot of other interests, but no time to attentd to them (or in the case of fishing, it is too cold right now.) Here are a few links to start.
I helped to found the The Carp Anglers Group in 1994. It is the premier carp fishing group in North America and it strives to make the carp a more recognizable sports fish. Try it, you will like it.
Vik Schreckengost is a 100 years old this year. You may not know him by name, but I bet you have use a product that he designed. He was awarded the National Medal of the Arts by President and Mrs. Bush this year. He has been a friend of my parents for at least 65 of those years. He designed numerous bicycles, the cab-over truck, and the famous Jazz Bowl.
Vik died this year (2008) and we all miss him.
My hobby-to-be when I retire is woodworking. So far I have managed to keep all of my digits but I am working on that.
Bluegrass music has been a passion of mine for 47 years ever since I first saw Flatt and Scruggs on TV as a teen in Franklin, TN. More on that later.
